Day 1
After landing at Catania (CTA) airport, guests will be transported to the elegant city of Acireale, located just outside Catania. We will have time to explore the city on our own before gathering for a welcome aperitivo and dinner.
Day 2
After a delightful breakfast, we will head to Mount Etna to explore the rugged beauty of this active volcano. Following our adventure on Etna, we will enjoy a wine tasting before returning to Acireale. Tonight, we will experience Carnevale, where the town comes alive with color and music!
Day 3
Another excellent breakfast will kick off our day as we journey to Ortigia. This stunning ancient island town is rich in history, which we will uncover during our walking tour. How about lunch by the seaside? Yes, please! Later, we will arrive at a villa in Chiaramonte, where dinner and conversation will flow late into the evening.
Day 4
On Monday, we’ll have a fascinating lesson on olives and enjoy an olive oil tasting. Lunch at Gerardo’s is a treat prepared by Chef Danny. Another Carnevale awaits us tonight in Chiaramonte! This city’s celebration features a sausage festival, so we’ll indulge in street food for dinner.
Day 5
Tuesday is filled with hands-on experiences. We’ll take a farm tour to learn about local life, followed by an engaging cooking class and luncheon. After a day of activity, we will unwind with dinner in Chiaramonte.
Day 6
We’ll head to Ragusa Ibla, where the breathtaking Baroque architecture is ready to impress. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, this city has much to offer. We will enjoy a brief tour and then have the afternoon to explore and dine on our own. We’ll have an unforgettable experience at The Sardo Olive Farm in the evening.
Day 7
Thursday arrives, marking our final day. We will start with a hearty breakfast at the villa before departing from Catania (CTA) or Comiso (CIY) airports. Arrivederci!
